Crocodile Technology 410 Licence Information

Unfortunately due to an error, users of Crocodile Technology version 410 cannot access their licence information from the software's about box.

However, this information is stored in a text file in the directory where the software was installed.

On Computers Running Windows

If you are running Crocodile Technology 410 on Windows, follow these instructions to retrieve your licence code.

  • Find the folder where your software is installed. By default, this is:

    C:\Program Files\Crocodile Clips\Crocodile Technology 410\

  • Ensure that you can see hidden and system files.
  • In this folder there is a file called 'licence'. Open this file in a text editor, for example Notepad.
  • This file should look similar to this:

The sections highlighted in red above show the

Licensee Name: John Smith

and

Licence Code: CT005LC-410-ABCDE
